Product Care Guide
Our insect specimens are carefully preserved and framed to be enjoyed for many years. With a little care, your piece can remain a beautiful and unique part of your home for a long time.

Display Location

Please keep your frame indoors in a dry environment. Avoid displaying it in bathrooms, near humidifiers, or in areas with high moisture, as humidity can affect specimens over time.

Sunlight & UV Exposure

To help preserve the natural colors of your specimen, keep the frame out of direct sunlight. Prolonged UV exposure may cause fading, especially on butterfly and moth wings.

Cleaning

To keep your frame looking its best, gently dust the outside with a soft microfiber cloth. When cleaning the glass, spray the cleaner onto the cloth first rather than directly onto the frame to prevent moisture from getting inside.

Pest Protection

Because these are real natural specimens, occasional pest activity is possible. We recommend checking your frame from time to time. If you notice any signs of pests, place the entire frame in a freezer for 7–14 days to eliminate insects and larvae.

Accidental Damage

Insect specimens are delicate, and small parts may break if the frame is dropped or handled roughly. Minor repairs can often be made using fine tweezers and a small amount of clear adhesive. If your piece is damaged, please feel free to contact us—we'll be happy to provide guidance on possible repair options.
