Zeuxidia aurelius / Sumatra
This species is a large butterfly with a wingspan of up to 14.5 cm (about 5.7 inches). It exhibits dramatic sexual dimorphism.
Males display a brilliant, broad, iridescent blue or purple band on their black forewings, complemented by a large patch of the same color on the hindwing. Females are often paler, with pale yellow and dull orange accents instead of the blue.
